Lockdowns have you down? The Streetsville BIA wants to bring a little entertainment to your home and a chance to win some Streetsville Dollars due to the extended COVID lockdown!
From January 19th to January 31st take a photo with the virtual Streetsville Snowman from your home or on your walks through the Village and tag @StreetsvilleBIA on either Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook for your chance to win 1 prize of $100 Streetsville Dollars or 2 prizes of $50 Streetsville Dollars. Winners will be announced on Monday, February 1st.
Using augmented reality on your smartphone to find the Streetsville Snowman is a safe, socially-distanced way to connect and share during this COVID lockdown.
Here is how to participate:
- Download the FREE ImagineAR ™ app to your mobile devices (available on the App Store and Google Play).
- Launch the ImagineAR ™ App and select “Near Me”.
- Selected one of the Streetsville Snowmen on it to begin ‘placing’ in the right spot for your photo.
- Point your phone at the ground and move it slowly until the Streetsville Snowman appears! (NOTE: You can move him up and down to get the sizing right, then tap to fix him in place).
- Tap on the white circle button to take a snapshot or hold down the button to take a short video.
- Then share your favourite photo to socials or save it to your phone or Google drive and tag @StreetsvilleBIA to be entered in the contest!
GRAND PRIZE: $100 Streetsville Dollars
TWO Second Prizes: $50 Streetsville Dollars
These gift certificates can be redeemed for online, curbside, or in-person shopping.
