Bread and Honey Founders Festival

ROAD CLOSURE: 7 AM to 7 PM on Queen St. S between north of Thomas and south of Tannery.

 

Since 1973 our festival has been held annually on the first weekend in June, in the Village of Streetsville, Mississauga, Ontario.

 

The Bread and Honey Festival is proud to be back and celebrating it’s 50th year anniversary!! For this year we are changing the footprint of the festival to a one-day Bread and Honey Street Festival, on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. The Festival will be in downtown Streetsville along a portion of Queen Street South.

 

The festivities will begin at 10 am for the opening ceremony where the Streetsville Pipes and Drums a 50th-anniversary plaque ceremony.

 

Stick around for a fun-filled day where there will be loads of live music and entertainment, children’s activities, and vendors.

There will be performers throughout Queen St. S until 5:30 p.m. children’s inflatables, clowns, face painting, Zoosemobile, vendors, artisans, buskers, and MORE!

 

The Beauty of Bees Art Exhibit and Contest: Pollinating Garden (adjacent to BIA office, 280 Queen St. S) at 2 PM. Admission is free.

 

LEGION BEER GARDEN HOURS: 11:30 AM to 11 PM Saturday, June 4th: Entertainment and food available. $5.00 entry fee and ID required.

And as always, we can’t wait to kick things off on Friday night (June 3rd) at the Streetsville Legion with the Mountain Lion Trappers.

 

 

Fireworks will begin at 9:45 PM at Streetsville Memorial Park.
