March 8th, 2020 is International Women’s Day which highlights women’s accomplishments and challenges against the patriarchy, in order to receive more equality for all! What makes this day so successful and important is the collective action that everyone takes; every action taken whether big or small makes a positive difference for women world wide.

The Streetsville BIA is proud to recognize International Women’s Day! In celebration, we would like to invite everyone to join us at our first annual Luncheon in Cuchulainn’s Irish Pub. This will give you an opportunity to acknowledge women’s successes and how to continue to push gender parity. Not to mention, this will be accompanied with a delicious meal that will satisfy your hunger.

In light of this, what better way to celebrate this day than with a highly successful individual that has made a positive impact for women everywhere. Joining us this afternoon will be our special guest Madame Mayor Bonnie Crombie!

*We will also graciously accept donations of diaper sizes 4,5,6 & pull-ups, baby-wipes and grocery or Walmart gift cards for Vita Centre. A non-profit charity that offers education, 1to1 counselling, public education and awareness for pregnant and parenting youth.*
