Based in Mississauga, Ontario, the group is dedicated to preserving and reimagining Argentina’s diverse musical traditions. By weaving together vocals, guitar, charango, violin, and traditional percussion with jazz harmonic explorations and a chamber music approach, El Ceibo creates a sound that has earned airplay on CBC Radio 1 and Jazz FM, leading to performances at the Toronto Jazz Festival and Folk Alliance International.
