The City of Mississauga Culture Division presents the Summer Music Concert Series at the Streetsville Village Square.
Come out Friday evenings from 7pm – 8:30pm and immerse yourself in live musical performances by local, up-and-coming artists. There is something for everyone from classical to rock. Mark your calendars for a summer filled with melodies and good vibes. Starting from July 7th, every weekend will be a celebration of music and community spirit.

- July 7 – Mauve
Mauve is a pop songstress who transcends genres to bring you moving electro-pop tracks combined with soulful and acoustic production. - July 14 – Cat Bernardi Quartet
Cat Bernardi is a jazz vocalist, composer, band leader and arranger. She performs a wide array of jazz standards from the American song book, as well as her own original music. - July 21 – Five and Tens
Five and Tens are a 4 piece instrumental band named after Mississauga highway intersection 5& 10 creating cinematic jazz, funk and soul records under Vidal Recordings. - July 28 – Majd Sekkar “14 Hours” Quintet
Majd Sekkar is a Syrian Canadian Clarinetist whose name has been distinguished in the Toronto music scene for his fusion music and unique sound. His style blends Middle Eastern folk and classical music with Jazz music in unparalleled practice. Majd joined the fusion jazz club by starting a band called “14 Hours”. This jazz-influenced fusion and folk music band left a serious fingerprint in rearranging middle eastern music on jazz harmony and pop rhythms. - August 4 – Oleyada
Bilingual Indie-Pop singer songwriter releasing music from her bedroom. Oleyada released her first independent single “Pick Up the Phone”, a bright and poppy diss track to your worst best-friends, in the summer of 2020. Her music has since been featured on television programs such as CBC’s Strays and Working Mom’s. - August 11 – Adina V x Lisa Shen
Adina V is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer, and educator. Her personal style incorporates 90s-infused nostalgia married with intimate folk songs, with songs ranging from catchy indie-rock bangers to introspective acoustic ballads. She has performed at historic GTA venues such as The Horseshoe Tavern, Sneaky Dees, and The Rec Room.Lisa Shen is a writer and spoken word artist. Her work centers on feminism and gender-based violence, with secondary focuses on Chinese-Canadianism, disability, and queer identity. Lisa is the Director of Sauga Poetry, Mississauga’s hub for spoken word. She has taught poetry courses with Workman Arts and JAYU and delivered workshops in high schools. She is dedicated to uplifting spoken word across the Greater Toronto Area. - August 18 – Geneva Lei
Geneva Lei is an emerging R&B/Soul singer and songwriter from Mississauga, Ontario. Her contemporary R&B/Soul sound is often fused with hiphop. From production to song writing, Geneva Lei is a self-taught independent artist that creates unapologetic and honest stories through music. - August 25 – Stephanie Braganza
Stephanie Braganza is an award winning powerhouse vocalist. She has performed in a wide array of settings, including a private event at the Art Gallery of Ontario and at the MuchMusic Video Awards.
An outspoken animal rights activist, her latest music video; “Chains of Silence” won two Global Music Awards for “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best Music Video,” and has received support from Bif Naked, Tony Kanal (No Doubt) and PETA. - September 1 – Waves by Philoso7her
