Streetsville Business Connects November 5th!

Streetsville Business Connects is a Networking Breakfast open to everyone. Meet like-minded entrepreneurs over a cup of coffee, learn tips that will benefit your business, connect with old friends and make new ones!

Our speaker will be a Gerald Adad from Safe City Mississauga and Constable Horner from Peel Regional Police Service.

Gerald Adad is Safe City Mississauga’s Neighbourhood Watch and Research Coordinator. He has been working to adapt Neighbourhood Watch to modern times by partnering with the social media app Nextdoor. He is also working to bring Neighbourhood Watch to a wider audiences such as youth and businesses, as well as higher crime areas in definite need of crime prevention. For the BIA meeting, he will discuss the benefits of Business Watch, how to set up a Watch and what will be required for businesses to make the Watch successful.

Constable Horner is a 15 year member of the Peel Regional Police Service where she has served in a number of areas including Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigations Bureau, the Fraud Bureau with her current assignment being in Crime Prevention Services. As a Crime Prevention officer Jennifer is involved providing education to the community on a number of subjects including fraud and internet safety, social media and human trafficking. For the BIA meeting, she will discuss the Clear Zone Robbery Prevention program, Purse Theft and Distraction Theft prevention.
